Tie Dye
What is the best way to put letters onto a shirt that I am going to tie dye?

My after-school program is making tie dye shirts, but we need the shirt to also have the name of the program on it, so I am looking for easy and simple ides as to how to do this. If we were to write on the shirts with a permanent marker first and then tie dye would that work, or is there a better way? I am looking for any and all suggestions, thanks!

Write with a resist - try Modge Podge and make sure it saturates through the fibers.

After the MP is dry, you can dye.

Do a sample at home first.
