FedEx and my iPod Projected Delivery Date?
I just recently ordered and iPod and I live in Nashville, TN. The Apple website says that the iPod is already in transit from Memphis to Nashville, but it also says that projected delivery is the 30th. If it's already almost to Nashville, why wouldn't it be able to make it here by tomorrow?

Although the shipping distance is quite short, it takes time for the people in the warehouse and FedEx to move it around and process.
Also take into consideration that people do need to sleep, and ordering at Sunday midnight means that it might not be processed until Monday morning. It can get out of the warehouse and end up at the FedEx distribution center in Nashville by late Monday. By Tuesday morning, the truck should drop it off at your house.
