you really shouldn't use henna if you ever plan on using regulay hair dye. it really has to grow all the way out before you can dye it with anything but henna again. that being said...here goes...

take henna powder...175-200 grams and mix with about 1-2 teaspoons of ground coffee (not instant). beat this into the yolk of one egg. add a tbsp of brandy or rum. mix this *gradually and slowly* with water until you get the consistancy you want. apply this to your hair and then put on a plastic hair cap. wrap your head in a warm towel and leave the mixture on your hair for as long as you can tolerate. (probably a couple of hours). rinse it out of your hair until the water runs clear. if your hair is super long or super short...adjust the recipe accordingly.

Mix coffee powder in the water and make a paste of henna with the water. Beat the egg yolk and mix this into henna. Also add brandy to it. Apply the paste and leave it on for 3-4 hours before washing it with lukewarm water.
