How can I get blue denim dye out of my tan sperrys?

I have the oatmeal colored Sperrys, and I was wondering how I could get blue denim dye out of them. They are stained all over. I don't want them to change color though!!! Is there a product I can buy or something that I could use from home?

I too have had this happen. The above poster C'est la vie is right there isn't anything that can take this dye out with a home remedy.

But, there is a simple and easy solution and that is to go to your shoe repair shop or crafts store and buy leather dye in the color that will cover up the blue jean dye.

Applying leather die is very easy and it comes with an applicator known as a dobber. The dye soaks in very quickly and will dry within 24 hours and now they will be a stain free.

I have purchase belts, shoes and handbags on sale that I loved but didn't like the color so within a few minutes I have what I want for usually half the price using leather dye.

You can even take items that you still love to wear but look woren out and make them look new again.
