Dupatta Hijab
Dupatta Hijab
"Hijab" in other languages/countries?

In the Malay language, HIjab or headscarf is also known as "tudung". I googled and found that in Indian "dupatta" is the Indian equivalent of a headscarf. What is the Hijab called in other languages/countries?

In Hungary we call it fejkend? (=head scarf). But I don't think it's an official word approved by Hungarian Muslims, because they are very few in number here. Perhaps they prefer call it hijab, I don't know.
